Simple and simply delicious! Cake mix and ready-to-spread frosting mixed with melted chips—what could be easier?

These cupcakes were amazing! Made them for a BBQ with friends and family, and everybody loved them. I had a lot of left over frosting though...so next time I think I'll buy 2 boxes of cake mix. Also, I think I might try mixing in some marshmallow fluff with the frosting to make it a little creamier. But even if you make them the way the recipe calls for...they're still GREAT!

i put a simple but exiting twist on my chocolate cupcakes. i put the batter in the cupcake pan then i took square pieces of cookie dough and put it in the cupcake batter and just cooked the cupcakes until the cookie inside was gooey.

I made these cupcakes with a twist. I made two truffle frostings, chocolate and white. I filled the cupcakes with white. Then I frosted the tops using a decorating tip with chocolate and tipped it with the left over white frosting. I then cut up hershey bars and stuck them in the center of the white tips. Hands down best cupcakes ever!

I made these cupcakes to take to work - everyone loved them. I used all ingredients as stated in the recipe, including the same type of frosting listed. I was careful when mixing the frosting into the white chocolate. At first I thought it was going to lump, but I kept whisking and it came out nice and rich and thick. It is a heavier frosting, but I liked it and will make it again. I spread it on - went on easily. Next time I might try using a large decorator tip as shown. Delicious.
