I made this cake for Valentine's Day. I was one of the most delicious cakes that I have ever tasted. Easy to make also. I highly suggest making this cake if you like strawberry's.

I usually rave about all my Betty recipes.. but, in this case the cake was good.. but, it wasn't GREAT.. Which is what i was going for on Easter.. But, it was just kinda generic.. I was expecting more out of it.. I just feel like this recipe is more trouble than it was worth.. I'm sad to say that b/c i was wanting to love this cake.. hmmph.

hi...i have tried betty crocker dark choclate cake mix on my 2 year old daughter's birthday and it was yummmm :)))... my husband's birthday is coming up and i wanted to bake a strawberry and choclate cake for him...that's when i saw your jam packed strawberry cake recipe...but i have a doubt...instead of buying the white cake flour and then mixing it up with strawberry flavoured gelatin can i use your strawberry cake mix itslf??? please reply asap as i just 2 more days left...

Wonderful recipe!! Both delicious and pretty presentation. Thanks to some of the reviews, I substituted a whipped chocolate frosting layer in the middle instead of the strawberry jam. Used a 12 ounce jar of seedless strawberry jam for the top and bottom layer. Needed 2 cans of frosting to fill center layer and frost the sides and top. Generously grease and flour the pans since one of the layers partially stuck to the pan. Enjoy!!

I made this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He isn't a fan of sweets, but he did enjoy this. I used milk chocolate covered strawberries with a vanilla drizzle instead and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely make it again!

I made this cake for my fiance on Valentine's Day, and we both loved it! Very delicious, and the chocolate-covered strawberrys are a very nice touch - delicious as well! I would definitely make this cake again! I only used the two cake layers and made the strawberry filling a little thicker. Turned out just great!
