It’s a candy bar. No, it’s a cake with candy bars, and it has mounds of richness!

Oh my!!!! Incredible cake. It took a little time, but it was well worth it. The second time I made it, I used real almond joy candy bars for the top. It cut down on time, but they were not as soft as the candy bars from the recipe. I added a little shredded coconut to the filling (about 1/2 Cup), and I enjoyed it that way. Taste test a small amount of it this way first, if you want to try it. Thank you Kutedymples. It was your good review that made me try it! And, thank you BETTY!

Awesome Cake... Let me tell you, if you like coconut, mounds or almond joy candy bars you will die for this cake. I even added a whole almond on top of each candy bar before icing with the chocolate and it was just enough to put this over the edge delicious! You have to make this, might seem a little bit much as far as the steps but the anticipation of eating this cake and the way it turned out was so worth it.
