Naughty or nice, everyone will love these easy cho-coal-late treats. Cocoa Puffs® cereal dipped in melted chocolate and marshmallows create these tasty stocking stuffers.

The recipe was easy. The results were a rich and delightful change from the usual cookies I bake for XMAS. I did find putting the marshmallow mixture in the fridge for a while did make it easier to cut but other than that I thought the recipe great. Definitely making these again!

These are ok a little rich ... also I stuck them in the freezer for 10 mins before cutting .. Because the Marshmallow was still sticky after setting for an hour , Made a huge difference when cutting.. Not sure if I would make them again

I made these tonight but used Cocoa Krispies instead of the Cocoa Puffs. They were divine! Definitely will be making these again.

I made these today using cocoa pebbles cereal. They are the same as rice crispy treats only chocolatey. I made black sugar by mixing regular sugar with blue green and red food color and kneading it in a ziplock bag until it is all an even color. They are not only adorable... but yummy as well. I see another batch in MY near future ! lol

@ the-burtons...You can buy black sanding sugar in the cake decorating department at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. You can also make colored sugar yourself by adding food coloring to sugar. Just put it in a ziploc bag and wiggle and knead it till color is mixed in. The bag keeps your hands clean :)

They do sound like chocolate rice crispy treats. Can anyone tell us if the black sugar is something that can be purchased or is it made . . . if so how? Thanks

I'm guessing these are basically like rice crispy treats but in a chocolate form using coco puffs and a chocolate coating right? Sounds yummy.
