EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Walnut lovers can sprinkle 1/3 cup chopped walnuts over the bars just after drizzling with frosting.

No chocolate chunks on hand? Substitute semisweet or milk chocolate chips instead.

It was good. I added about 1/4 cup of peanut butter and 1 Tbs water so it wasn't too thick then. I also added milk chocolate and peanut butter chips to batter. I melted the chocolate and peanut butter chips for the topping.

Very easy and tastier than I expected. Use real butter and a buttery yellow cake mix for best flavor. I also added a little vanilla. Then I drizzled the top with melted chocolate morsels instead of the frosting.

I just happened to have a yellow butter cake mix so I tried that and they turned out great. I made them when family was coming over with lots of kids. Everyone loved them. But I run a B & B and I will be making these for guests in the future!
