You must not of cooked them all the way then. This is what i did, I made it as directed except i added 5 more minutes in the oven and then let them cool completely which took about 3 hours and they turned out perfectly, not gooey at all. Try that and see what happens :). Over all, very good recipe.

Loved these bars. Added a little more peanut butter and a little less milk. Turned out great!

I made these for a church function and they were absolutely delicious. I especially like the oats in the bars, because it makes you feel not so guilty. You must try these. They are the best...

Made these for friends and the reviews were overwhelming positive! The bars are truly decedent, full of flavor and overall delicious. While a little challenging to cut since they are soo gooey, the flavor was a perfect balance of salty peanut butter and sweet chocolate. I ended up having to make a second batch the following week!

Tried this recipe recently for my coworkers. While the taste overall was pleasing, I found that the condensed milk mixture in the middle gave the bars an "uncooked" texture. Next time I will try using a bit less milk and a bit more peanut butter. Also, make sure you don't beat the butter and oatmeal mixture too much....the butter melts as I found out. Turned out OK just a little more work to crumble it on top!
