Chocolate Chip Cookie Surprise Cake

Ingredients

box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow cake mix
1
cup milk
1/2
cup vegetable oil
4
eggs
1
pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® chocolate chip cookie mix
Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
1
container Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Generously grease and lightly flour bottom only of 13x9-inch pan, or spray with baking spray with flour.
  • 2 In large bowl, beat cake mix, milk, oil and 4 eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into pan.
  • 3 Make cookie dough as directed on pouch. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls evenly over batter in pan.
  • 4 Bake 54 to 59 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen cake. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Spread frosting over top of cake. Store loosely covered.

i made this cake alot of it for an event....from scratch because i didn't want to buy boxes. later i tried with a box got the same result. my question is... can it be done with cupcakes? if so how exactly.. i don't wanna try a million different ways i don't have time. and i need to figure it out soon my bride has changed her mind a million times. wedding is texxt Sunday. HELP?

I havent done this cake, but my question is, where do i have to put the cookie mix? over the cake one? and then let it bake all together? PLEASE I WOULD BE REALLY GRATEFUL if you could answer this before tomorrow, cant wait to try this recipe!
