I doubled the Bisquick topping. It was soooo good. I got one serving the night I baked it. When I got home the next day it was completely gone. My teenagers undoubtably loved it too. Thanks

We did not like this recipe unfortunately. It was a real shame too because my 11 year old son and I had fun making it together. We made in the morning and stored it undera cake dome until dessrt time in the evening. That may have been where we went wrong because the recipe called to serve it warm and I now believe it meant to serve it warm, fresh from the oven. We warmed it up in the mircrowave and the filling was all coagulated. It looked wonderful when it came out of the oven so perhaps the key is to serve it fresh.

My hubby and I loved this recipe as we love cherries and chocolate both. I plan to try it with apples and vanilla and cinnamon...and peaches with almond and vanilla. It is good topped with frozen yogurt too.
