I found your blog while searching for a good paceotnas recipe! I spent last summer in Ecuador and have craved ceviche and paceotnas almost weekly since returning to Kansas City. Unfortunately, we don't have a great selection of fresh seafood, but I'm excited to try your other Ecuadorian recipes and share the delicious food with my friends and family. Thanks!

I made these brownies over winter break, and they were completely delicious. However, I did not follow the directions exactly; I substituted Joy of Cooking recipes in place of brownie mix and pre-packaged fudge sauce. The cherry marshmallow cream never fully hardened, and I ended up storing the brownies in the freezer as opposed to the refrigerator, because the cream would have melted. THE GOOD: These brownies were the best I have ever made. THE BAD: It took an extremely long time to make, including clean up of all the equipment. By the time I was done it was around midnight. You should definitely try this recipe, but only if you are prepared to dedicate yourself to a few hours of cooking.

was not a huge fan of this. To much going on with it, took FOREVER to make. Made it for my husbands work and like 2 people ate it. So very disappointed after i spent such a long time on it and i didnt even like it all that much either.
