Ingredients

1: pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® peanut butter cookie mix

3: tablespoons vegetable oil

1: tablespoon water

1: egg

18: miniature (1 inch square) bars chocolate-covered peanut, caramel and nougat candy, unwrapped

1: container (1 lb) Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting

: Betty Crocker® Holiday candy decors, if desired

Directions

1 Heat oven to 375ºF. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, oil, water and egg until soft dough forms.
2 Form dough into thirty-six 1-inch balls (about 2 teaspoons each); press into ungreased mini muffin cups. Cut each candy bar in half; press one piece of candy bar into center of dough in each cup.
3 Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool completely in pan, about 30 minutes. Remove from pan to serving plate. Spoon frosting into pastry bag fitted with star tip. Pipe frosting on top of each cookie cup. Decorate with decors.

I love these! They are FANTASTIC. Every time I make them, I get lots of compliments. The first time I made them, it seemed like it took forever, but every time afterwards, it seemed to go a little faster. FYI - you can buy frosting in a can that comes with a star-shaped tip.

These were fairly easy (the measuring out the dough per muffin-cup was a little challenging, but I just kept at it. Super delicious, and the second time I made them, I did not use the icing, seemed a little too rich with the snickers already in there (and I love chocolate, trust me!)

Easy and delicious despite one of the reviews I read below made me nervous. My first time making a "cookie cup", so my dough balls were a little large (using literally two teasps of dough) that I was pressing into the muffin pan. It was a little sweet, next time I will try to switch it up, and maybe withhold the frosting. @JackesCookbook - what a fantastic idea! that's something I will use in the future. Work smarter not harder, right?!
