Munch on a snack cake that needs no frosting! Chocolate chips bake on top of a moist chocolate-banana cake.

This cake was incredibly moist. I had my doubts at first, a cake with no eggs? The first time I made this I put the chocolate chips on top, the second time I put them into the mix and that was still good. I also put 1/3 cup of walnuts in it and now my friends can not stop asking me to make it again.

I may have done something wrong here, but the cake came out very rubbery although the flavors were good. Perhaps I will try it again to see if I missed something.

I just put this cake in the oven. very happy about the convenience of less dishes, and I used the last of a lot of things I did not want to waste or throw away. could not find any other recipe that suited me better on this day. will definitely keep this one. Thank You!

Delicious. Very moist and easy to make...all in one dish! Next time I am going to add nuts. We're having it with ice cream. What a wonderful way to use up 2 ripe bananas.

I make this cake "blonde" sometimes, by replacing the cocoa with flour (1 1/2 cups total), and adding 1/2 tsp vanilla, then sprinkling the top with walnuts. My husband says it is his favorite cake.
