Made this four times now and have even finished in a crockpot once and this recipe is quite delicious. Was sampled by half a dozen or so and all said it was very good!

This recipe turns out great every time. I did have to double the recipe for my family. I also added just a little water because we like it thinner since we serve it over rice with cheese. Great for a cold rainy day!

I have done this recipe on several occasions. I add Italian sausage to the ground beef and also put a jar of picante sauce to it to give it a little kick. I cook it in a crock pot for several hours to let the flavors mix.

I never thought I would be able to cook chili from scratch. My husband usually makes chili out of chili beans in a can and just add diced tomatoes, onions and bell pepper. Then I thought to myself, I wanted something that is real. By chance I got the ingredients, I only needed an easy way to cook it, not the fancy one. This recipe is the best! So easy to follow and the turn out was great! I tried to cook a pound of meat first but we finished it at one time so I had to cook two pounds of meat again after a week so I can put aside some in the fridge for snacks. Love....love it so with hubby! Thanks!

This chili was delicious. I added a few extra seasonings and some tomato sauce for a thinner chili. I served this chili with homemade cornbread the first night. The second night with sour cream, shredded cheese and fritos. My family loved it!
