My Mom and I found this recipe in a magazine about 40 years ago! it has been a family favorite ever since! and I still have the recipe cut out from the magazine! quick and easy! I use red peppers and leave out the olives tho!

I changed it up a bit with what I had on hand and used ground chicken and a box of Lasagna Hamburger Helper. Was wonderful and leftovers are already spoken for. Had good flavor with the sauce mix and I added some cheese on top. Very easy to make and much healthier too than the ground beef!

I made this for dinner tonight. Like most of the other people that reviewed this recipe; I could not find the Chili Macaroni Hamburger Helper in the grocery store. I used the Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper flavor. I followed the rest of the recipe. I liked it and I would make it again.

I could not find the regular chili macaroni hamburger helper, so I got the mexican version, in place of the diced tomatoes I put in a whole jar of medium salsa. It was so good, my family said I have to make this again.

I have made this soup a couple of times now and it has quickly become a family favorite - even my four year old likes it! I usually add a bit more pasta in addition to what comes with the HH - a very quick and yummy dinner!

I am making it now and I got the wrong type of HH. Instead of chili mac, I got cheeseburger mac. I hope it comes out ok. Ok Well, it is OK. I like it. But, it needs more spices. Pretty cheap and yummy otherwise.
