Chili-Glazed Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

tablespoons chili sauce

tablespoons soy sauce

teaspoon sesame oil
1
teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1/4
teaspoon crushed red pepper
8
bone-in skin-on chicken thighs (5 to 6 oz each)

teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper

  • 1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and red pepper.
  • 2 Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 8 minutes. Turn chicken; brush with chili sauce mixture. Continue turning chicken and brushing with sauce 8 to 10 minutes longer or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (180°F).

We really enjoyed this recipe! It had a nice kick that made it interesting instead of "chicken...again?!" Even my VERY PICKY 2 year old ate it!

I made the chili glaze first and allowed to set in fridge. I didn't care for the flavor.. I decided not to put on chicken so i would be disappointed..
