I like to do this in single serving baking crocks. I bake cornbread on the bottom first, then add the chili and toppings on top of the cornbread. My daughter never liked chili, so her crock was 90% cornbread, and 10% chili.

Came together quickly. With medium salsa, it has some kick!

You know it is tasty when everyone goes back for seconds! I'm making it again for my grandkids tonight. I know they will love it as much as we do. This will definitely be used over and over, especially on cold winter nights.

I just made this tonight. I used two cans of red beans since it was more than a pound of ground beef. This is a keeper. I can hardly wait to try it with my grandkids. We all had seconds. Yum!

Awesome! I made it for the first time when I went to visit my mom last month. I mixed chili beans and black beans. This will definitely become a favorite.

Not a review: Although it does look good. I just looked this up on the Pillsbury site. Exact same name, the ingredients are the same just worded differently. The kicker The pictures are 100% identical. Either the same person submitted the same recipe with slight changes or recipes are being stolen. The pillsbury site even gives the name of a women who's recipe it's supposed to be. Just sayin. With the one I make I put my chili in the bottom 1/2 full sprayed pan. Top with cornbread mix & bake 20 min. remove sprinkle shredded colby jack on top return to oven bake another 15 min. Just make sure cornbread is done. No right or wrong way be yourself & be creative.

Very easy and tasty. I just make a full batch of corn bread from scratch if I don't have the packet. Can also be made vegetarian w/o the beef.

OMG!! This was super-easy...one frying pan then into a cassarole dish to bake. Weekday meal thats very quick and easy. I would next time add an additional bag of cornbread as we were fighting to have extra on our plate. Highly recommend this recipe to all

Loved this dish it was so easy and looked fantastic when finished. The leftovers are even better! Kids weren't thrilled, but they are super picky eaters and it at least passed!
