Sorry I can't tell you all if children like it, I don't have any little ones at home. But I can tell you that my husband raved about it and my 87 year old mother-in-law ate the most I've seen her eat in a long time! This is really easy, too. I boilded some sale chicken leg/thigh quarters, left them in the same pot, and kept it in the refrigerator for a couple of days, til I was ready to make this. Then I pulled/cut up the chicken onto a plate, saved the chicken water in the freezer for some other time, and used the same pot to cook this. I used Campbell's Healthy Request Cream of Chicken instead of the Cheddar Cheese Soup. I tossed in a quarter cup of shredded cheddar right before I pored it into the casserole dish. I did not use the sliced green onions. We called it comfort food. I'm at high altitude, I divided it between a 9x9 and a bread pan. I love spicy food, but I also enjoy plain things, too. I agree, this is on the plain side, but that was fine for us, and maybe the cream of chicken soup added an enhanced chicken flavor that made it good to us. The topping was a bit crunchy, we liked that. When I make casseroles with the biscuit-drops on top, the bottoms of the biscuits are just too soggy to me, this recipe doesn't have that problem, so I love it best.

the topping wa too dry at 25 min, maybe i will try less time cooking next time. it was a little bland tasting for me. overall it was a good dish, just needs some tweaking. i thought more sauce and more flavor would be better.

Nope.. just nope. If you want this type of taste, use the Impossible Chicken Pot Pie recipe instead.I found the topping dry & the chicken mixture a disappointment. Sorry Betty!

The recipe was easy to make, although it took me longer with family interruptions. My finicky 5 year old did eat some. So I was thrilled. And my husband said it was GOOD ! I will make it again. I did not add the mayonaise, no one here likes it.I used milk in it''s place.

I thought this recipe was quick and easy! The only thing that I would do differently next time is, I would of added Nacho Cheese Soup to add a little more Zest.
