box (9 oz) Green Giant® frozen cut broccoli

cups water

cup dry vermouth or water

cans (10 1/2 oz each) condensed chicken broth

can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup

cups cubed cooked chicken

cup chopped onions (2 medium)

cup sliced carrots (2 medium)

teaspoon dried basil leaves

teaspoon dried oregano leaves

cloves garlic, minced

package (7 oz) dry cheese tortellini
1/4
cup grated Parmesan cheese, if desired
  1. Remove broccoli from freezer; let stand at room temperature to thaw. In 5-quart saucepan or Dutch oven, mix all remaining ingredients except tortellini and cheese. Heat to boiling.
  2. Stir in tortellini. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in thawed broccoli; simmer 5 to 10 minutes longer or until broccoli is crisp-tender. Sprinkle individual servings with cheese.
