Enjoy these chicken souvlaki sandwiches with mayonnaise dressing ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

cups chopped cooked chicken

cup chopped peeled cucumber
1/2
cup crumbled feta cheese (2 oz)

cup finely chopped red onion
1/3
cup sour cream

tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed

tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing

tablespoon red wine vinegar

teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

pita fold breads (5 inch), warmed

Directions

  • 1 In medium bowl, place all ingredients except pita breads; toss until evenly coated. Divide mixture evenly down center of each pita bread; fold in half.

Expert Tips

You can substitute 1 to 2 teaspoons dried dill weed for the fresh dill in this recipe.

If you’ve chopped some extra cucumber or red onion, save it to quickly spruce up a salad.
