cups chopped cooked chicken
cup chopped peeled cucumber
cup crumbled feta cheese (2 oz)
cup finely chopped red onion
cup sour cream
tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed
tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
tablespoon red wine vinegar
pita fold breads (5 inch), warmed
In medium bowl, place all ingredients except pita breads; toss until evenly coated. Divide mixture evenly down center of each pita bread; fold in half.
You can substitute 1 to 2 teaspoons dried dill weed for the fresh dill in this recipe.
If you’ve chopped some extra cucumber or red onion, save it to quickly spruce up a salad.
