We love these as a change from traditional tacos. A few changes adapted it for our tastes. I sprinkled 1/2 package of taco seasoning plus a large tablespoon of chunky salsa to shredded chicken to moisten. Cover with plastic wrap and microware until hot. Do not add ranch dressing to mixture. Instead, in a seperate bowl mix ranch dressing, 1 Tblsp taco seasoning and 1 or 2 Tblsp chunky salsa. Best made ahead of time and refrigerated. Make taco using taco shell, chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Cool avacado is an added treat. Top with ranch dressing mixture. Use crisp taco shells or soft corn tortillas heated on the grill. Note: this mixture of ranch dressing and taco seasoning with chunky salsa makes a great dressing for a taco salad!

I made mine with leftover chicken breast and it was fantastic. My entire family has decided this is a new favorite for mexican food.

I will definitely make this dish again. Did anyone notice the sodium for 1 serving? 1500mg! I skipped the taco seasoning which is salty to begin with and substituted with fresh cilantro and a mixture of whole kernel corn and campari tomatoes, a little cucumber bits and such . A little drizzle of the ranch was a must! We enjoyed this convenient dinner idea. Thanks!

This turned out much better than I was expecting, and wasn't as greasy as I thought it might be. The ranch dressing mixed with the chicken and taco spices created a filling that was neither bland nor overpowering. The only thing I did differently from the recipe was to add a little bit of water to the chicken mixture at the end to make it less dry and more juicy. Definitely will be adding this one to my regular recipes.

I made this last night. My husband and kids really liked this recipe. It was quick, easy, and delicious. I used precooked grilled chicken strips and popped them in the microwave for 3 minutes and waa laa it was practically done. I also used diced tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheese, and salsa for my topping. Great for busy moms like me.
