EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Want extra Italian flavor? Stir in 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning with the Sauce Mix. True Parmesan lovers will appreciate extra cheese passed at the table.

Ham it up! Use about 1 pound chopped ham (3 cups) for the chicken.

Make a tossed green salad to go with this chicken and potatoes dish.

If you're not the type to cut up leftover chicken, buy frozen diced cooked chicken at the grocery store.

I tried this dish and loved it! My picky 5 yr old also enjoyed it! As soon as she heard "cheesey potatoes" were involved she was willing to give it a shot! Needless to say she loved it and ate 3 plates of it!!!!

Excellent quick meal! I used Southwestern Chicken Strips cut up into pieces. I also added Italian Seasoning, Seasoned Salt, Garlic Powder and Pepper once the dish was simmering. The kids said that this was definitely worth repeating...I served it with bread sticks and a side salad.

My family did not like this at all! It was bland yet had just enough flavor to taste really bad. It left an awful after taste in my mouth...I couldn't choke down a whole plate of this. My 22 month old daughter ate all of hers, but with a frown. I'm not sure what the problem was, I generally like all the ingredients in this dish, but this combo was just wrong for us.
