I made this and it was easy and delicious. There was one problem, though...there was a lot of liquid in it after it was cooked. Does anyone have any suggestions about where I went wrong? (I still gave it 5 stars, it was so good!)

Made this last night with a few changes. I marinated my chicken in Italian dressing for 1 1/2 hours. I diced a green pepper and 1/2 small yellow onion and sauteed them and added them and 1 Tbsp. garlic bread seasoning to the sauce. Omitted the fresh basil. I also added 12 slices of Hormel turkey pepperoni cut into fourths. I seasoned my breadsticks with garlic bread seasoning. I also did a quick sear on my chicken pieces before adding them to the dish. Baked covered for 10 minutes and then uncovered for the remaining 20. Dinner was awesome! This recipe is definitely a wonderful idea. You'll really enjoy it.

My local store didn't have the garlic breadsticks so I just got plain ones and added 1/2 tsp garlic powder to the butter mixture. I also didn't use the basil because I used spaghetti sauce instead. It was delicious!!! Will make again!!!
