the large quart size container can be refridgerated to use later or frozen in ice cube trays (and then put in a zip top bag) for later use. Also, I wonder if using water and chicken buillion would give the same flavor for much less money. or buy a small can of broth.

I'm really excited to try this recipe because I love chicken Cordon Bleu and I think that my family will enjoy it too. What bothers me is finding a recipe that wants me to buy something large, as in an entire quart of chicken broth, that I don't use routinely just to use a tiny amount of it, as in 1/3 cup of chicken broth in this recipe. It doesn't have to be the stock, it could be any ingredient. In times like these, I have to be economical. Buying something in order to use 1/12th of it is extravagant. So, when I try this recipe, I'll be using something in place of the Progresso chicken stock.
