This is my first time with Gluten Free Bisquick, my ONLY complaint is that I had to stop everything and bring up the website because the recipe was not on the darn box. I realize the box is small but dumplings on the regular Bisquick box isnt there either. Because of the difference in "flour" I wasn't sure if there was special ingredient needs.

This is the best dumpling recipe! Easy and YUMMY!! I made it the first time at a cabin without a stove - cooked over a burner. Everyone loved it - no leftovers, darn!

has anyone tried to make German spaetzle with this recipe? I'm making chicken parprekash for a dinner party and I just can't find a recipe that doesn't call for 10 ingredients plus the cost to buy it all is outragous!! I think I could use this recipe the only difference would be instead of dropping them into the stock or salted water buy the spoonfull I would drag a knife across the mixture in small incruments (like a string) and drop them into the liquid. Sound good?

For those who commented that their dumplings fell apart, make sure that you turn the heat down to a gentle boil. Rapid boiling will break dumplings apart. Very nice recipe. I used both fresh and frozen veggies and my own homemade chicken stock.

Growing up in the South I so missed chicken and dumplings when I was diagnosed with Celiacs. I made this for my family and everyone loved it!!! I prefer mine with only carrots and onions, but it was still good.
