EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Covered paper cups or plastic snack bags make super lunch-bag carriers. Get the kids to sticker or decorate a bunch to keep on hand for occasional welcome surprises.

Pretzel or peanut lovers will want to stir in 1 cup broken pretzels or 1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts with the cereal.

Always read labels to make sure each recipe ingredient is gluten free. Products and ingredient sources can change.

There are dairy free, gluten free, sugar free recipies, (you add the substitions you want or don't want by the ingredients you add to any recipie). Get stocked up on some cookbooks, there are many out there with all 3 DF, GF, SF restricted diets. For the choc chips I use enjoy life foods which are dairy free, gluten free, nut free, and many other free's. Check their website for all their allergy friendly products and recipies. Don't give up! You just have to be more proactive in your search for eating with allergies, I have many myself. Good luck!
