Sooo good, to the person looking for a peanut butter alternative, try the "no nuts" brand, it's nut free and soy free. I am also allergic to peanuts, and I use sunflower seed butter.

I replace the semi-sweet choc chips with Dark Choc. chips, and the vanilla with Almond Extract for a delicious Dark Chocolate Almond version. MMM-Delicious!

Wish someone had the answer of not using peanut butter. Loved this stuff as a kid and I'm so allergic to nuts now I cant have it. (this includes soy butter. Peanuts are BEANS people).

I have a 2 year old son who is allergic to gluten and dairy. I am constantly trying to find ways to make him things that are "normal" and like what everyone else has. Tonight, we made Chex Muddy Buddies together. Since rice chex and corn chex are gluten free, that part was easy, and I substituted gluten/dairy free chocolate chips and buttery spread...and the result was delicious! This recipe was easy, tasty, and easy to make substitutes to fit our family's needs. Thanks so much, Betty Crocker! You made my toddler very happy today!

Just made these for the first time tonight and... OMG! They're the tastiest little things in the world! I cut my recipe in half since I wanted to do some other Chex related recipes, and stuck them in the freezer for about 30 minutes before sampling. These will definitely become part of my recipe box!
