Chex® Bridge Mix

Ingredients

cups Corn Chex™ cereal

cups Rice Chex™ cereal

cups Wheat Chex™ cereal

cups small pretzel squares
1
cup salted cashews
1/2
cup butter, melted

teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Heat oven to 275°F. In ungreased shallow roasting pan, mix all ingredients until well coated.
  • 2 Bake uncovered 45 minutes, stirring once. Spread on paper towels to cool.

Expert Tips

Small pretzel squares are sometimes called “snaps.” You can use any bite-size pretzel shape, such as pretzel twists.

Salted peanuts can be substituted for the cashews.

For a sweet and savory bridge mix, stir in chocolate-covered nuts or raisins, or other candies of your choice, after the mixture is cool.
