Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 9-inch square pan with baking spray with flour.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar and salt. Cut in butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through mixture in opposite directions), until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Reserve 1 cup mixture for topping. To remaining mixture, stir in egg until just moistened.

Rasberries and almonds are two of my favorite things, and these were delicious! My boyfriend ate 5 the first time I made them, he said "Seriously, its the best thing I've ever eaten in my life." He loves dessert and this will added to my top recipes list. I followed the recipe exactly and lined the bottom of the pan w/a piece of square parchment paper I cut out, then with cooking spray and flour just to make sure they didn't stick. I also let them cool at least 4 hours and they didn't crumble at all when I removed them.

very nice, very easy. I used raspberries I grew myself, also my raspberry jam, so it didn't cost much at all.
