Cherry Pistachio Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2
cup butter, softened

egg
3/4
cup chopped dried cherries
3/4
cup chopped pistachio nuts
3
oz semisweet baking chocolate, chopped

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in cherries and 1/2 cup of the nuts. Onto ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by level tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart; flatten slightly.
  • 2 Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 20 minutes.
  • 3 In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate uncovered on High 30 seconds; stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer; stir until smooth. Drizzle melted chocolate over cookies. Let stand until set. Sprinkle evenly with remaining 1/4 cup nuts.
