I tried this recipe with blueberries and without chocolate chips. I was pleased with the results; very tasty, good consistency and appearance. I used a baking stone and 15 minutes worked well. If I were to try this again without the chocolate chips, I'd add a little sugar (maybe brown sugar?). Good luck!

I never had scones before and I made these and they were great! I made them at a ladies cooking party and several ladies asked for the recipe! They were a big hit. Thanks

This recipe was fantastic! Not only was it delicious and healthy, but my 4 year old LOVED rolling out the dough and making shapes. We used large cookie cutters and made stars and circles, triangles, and even micky mouse! It turned my cooking into a fun time for the whole family! I will definately use this again!

this is so easy that the kids made them. we used the heart healthy bisquick mix & used 1/4 cup egg beaters. we left out the fruit & chocolate because we served the scones with lemon curd & clotted cream. perfect scone for tea time! we are making this again to take to the grandparents.

I made these this morning using the heart healthy bisquick, fat free half and half, Splenda, dried cranberries, and mini cinnamon chips (a few more than the 1/3 cup called for). My dough was a little dry so I added just a shade bit more half and half to make a soft ball. It turned out fine. It was very tasty and my husband and I both enjoyed it very much. We'll have the left overs tomorrow, if they make it through the night. I plan on making it again and using different dried fruits such as peaches and also making it sometime with only cinnamon chips. Glad I found this recipe.

It was really quick and easy to make. I thought it tasted a little salty and if making it for just myself might add more chocolate chips (big fan of chocolate), but my fiance said it was perfect as is and wouldn't change anything. Perfect warm and at room temp.

I left out the chocolate and used dried cherries and dried apricot. I used 1% milk. (sigh...) But they turned out delicious - super easy to do. I tried it out to see if it would be could for a church morning snack and I am going to use it for sure!!

Fast, easy, and delicious! I didn't have whipping cream so I used half and half and it turned out ok. Also used Bisquick heart healthy mix.

Fabulous recipe! My family loves the cherry and chocolate combination. Made this the first time for Sunday morning breakfast when my daughter was home from college for the weekend..they are now a family favorite.
