Could not find the cherry cake mix or cherry frosting, so I used strawberry cake mix and strawberry frosting. They were a hit with my husband and my coworkers!! We will definitely make this one again and experiment with different cake and frosting flavors.

HEEEEELLLLPPPP! Like MOST of you, I can't find the cherry chip frosting.... (what's up with that Betty?!) If I were to make my cream cheese frosting then add cherries to it, would this be too much cream cheese when added to the already 2 pkgs of cream cheese used for the cake?

Enjoyed with the Cherry Chip cake mix and frosting for Mother's Day. It was a little sweet for me, but still delicious! Now making for my daughter's birthday using Party Rainbow Chip cake mix and Strawberry Mist frosting. Can't wait to taste it!!

These are so good! I also tried it with lemon cake mix and lemon frosting and they were amazing! I'm going to try the carrot cake mix today with cream cheese frosting. I hope they're good!

Made these for the guys at work for Valentines day. They were wonderful and super easy. Someone mentioned that they reminded them of the Good Humor, strawberry icecream bar, that you could get from the icecream truck, back in the old days. They were a hit. Could this method be used with other cake mixes and frosting, say.... Lemon?

These were amazing ! I was unable to find Cherry Frosting at my local supermarket so I had to make my own frosting, but the bars were creamy and full of cherry flavor !!!!
