This yummy main-dish salad goes together so quickly that you’ll think it’s the chef’s day off!
Dress this salad up when you serve it on a bed of shredded lettuce or bite-size pieces of mixed greens.
Boiled pasta continues to cook from the heat of the hot cooking water. Rinse pasta with cold water immediately after cooking, not only to chill it for this cold salad, but also to ensure that the pasta doesn’t soften from continued cooking.
This salad leaves plenty of room for inspiration. Use any cheese or cooked meat or seafood to replace the Cheddar and ham.
