In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter over medium heat; rotate skillet so butter coats bottom of skillet. Cook 1 quesadilla in butter 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, until lightly browned. Remove from skillet; place on cutting board.

To Broil: Set oven control to broil. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High 30 to 50 seconds or until melted. Brush 1 side of each tortilla with melted butter. Assemble quesadillas as directed with buttered sides of tortillas on the outside. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Broil with tops 4 to 6 inches from heat 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
