Very good even without sitting overnight, although I'm sure this step would further improve the taste. I made this a second time (again without sitting overnight) and added tomatoes, onions as well as onion powder and garlic powder. This recipe is a keeper.

Very good recipe! I usually use bread cubes in my breakfast casseroles and they are fairly heavy. This recipe is light...almost like a quiche or souffle. I did add chopped onions to add another flavor and it was great. The panko topping was a perfect addition!
