Every dinner tastes better when cheesy garlic bread is on the menu. This flavorful loaf, prepped in just 10 minutes, gets a boost from Land O Lakes Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 loaf (1 lb) French bread

Steps

    Heat oven to 400°F. In medium bowl, mix butter, garlic, oregano and pepper until thoroughly combined. Stir in cheese.

    Cut loaf of bread in half horizontally. Spread butter mixture over bottom half of bread; cover with top half. Wrap loaf tightly in foil.

    Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is warmed through. Cut into slices to serve.

  • tip 1
    You’ll want to make sure the garlic is very finely chopped for this recipe. A Microplane® grater works well for finely grating garlic.

    If you don’t like garlic, you can omit it and add your favorite herb instead.
