I've made this for the last 5 years, it's my husband's favorite. I actually made this for our Valentine dinner. I do believe the name is now called "Cheesy chicken enchilada" soup. Walmart is the only one who carries it around here. Also my husband doesn't like corn torrillas, I use flour tortillas, they hold up better anyways. Very good recipe, even better the next day.

I found the Progresso cheesy chicken enchilada soup at Wal-mart. This recipe was delicious. But of course, I added extra cheese and sour cream to jazz it up a bit more. This recipe also reminds me of that nacho chicken casserole made with nacho cheese doritos, chicken, corn, cheese, rotel tomatoes, etc. I will make this again.

DELICIOUS.. But I couldn't find the soup so instead I used progresso, southwest chicken green chili. Amazing. Recipe is kind of small two. So next time i will double. Amazing. Get's a little mushy since i only had an 8 in pan, but turned out great. Very filling.

I will quote my husband ."this is a KEEPER".. enough said!!! Absolutely delicious.. I could not find the soup called for in the recipe so I used one can Campbells cream of chicken and one can Campbells cheddar cheese to a can of Rosarita enchilada sauce and a few black olives on top... turned out fantastic.. I used to make this from scratch, no more, this is now our house recipe.. Highly recommend..

Just tried this recipe. Like others, I could not find the progresso soup. I used 1 can Campbells nacho cheese soup, 28 oz can of enchilada sauce. I also added another cup of shredded Monterrey Jack cheese. I served it with spanish rice. It was very good and easy to make!

Could not find the soup from Progresso but I used Campbells Nacho Cheese Soup 2 cans instead. Then added a Mexican blend cheese and more than 2 cups. We like it cheesy. Tasted wonderful this way. Would still like to try it with the Progresso soup so when I find it I'll make it again with that.

I couldn't find the soup so I got one that sounded similar. I also used half corn tortillas and half flour and the flour tortillas were easier to work with and I think tasted better.

My whole family LOVED this recipe. We ate the whole batch. I found the soup at Wal-Mart...only store I could find it, and I tried like 6 places. I made a few additions to the recipe. I added chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, olives, and diced green chiles to the filling, and used a mexican-cheese blend instead for a little extra flavor. Sprinkled remaining cheese, chiles, onions, and cilantro on top as well before baking. I also used flour tortillas...my family doesn't like corn. They were amazing! Will definitely put this in as a new favorite. Already getting requests for them again!
