My family loved this. I did make some changes though: Doubled and put into a 9x13. Used 2 small cans of cream of chicken and 8 oz of nacho cheese for some flavor. I used left over veggies from a dinner and some rotisserie chicken. We all loved the crust and this has been claimed as a keeper!

I cooked this for dinner a couple of hours ago, and it was pretty good. I did not use the canned chicken or pre-cooked chicken. I cut up some boneless chicken breast, seasoned them, and cooked them in a little bit of water. It came out awsome!! I also used 2 jars of double cheesy cheese sauce. I was cooking for 7 people tonight so i doubled everything. I did make the mistake of putting extra crumbles on top. Advice, don't do it! Lol It was a little much. But overall it was pretty good.

I thought this recipe was pretty good. I also used alfredo sauce instead of the cheese sauce and changed the veggies up a little.I also added just a pinch of cheddar cheese to the Bisquick mixture. I had a bit of trouble getting the topping to flake, so it was a little clumpy, but I did enjoy the taste and texture the topping added and would make this again.

I'm almost afraid to put this on the table after cooking. I don't see how you can sprinkle the topping after adding the egg. I ended up rolling it out and laying it on top. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd welcome it.

I make this once every 2 weeks, sometimes once every week! LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe! I replace the cheese sauce with broccoli cheddar soup. My family can't get enough of it!

Not sure where you guys are looking but it clearly states 2 cups cut up "COOKED" chicken. I no where, where it calls for raw or uncooked chicken.

This recipe is AWESOME!!! I loved it, but did make a few changes just because I didn't have all the ingredients on hand. 1. I used mixed frozen vegetables - thawed and drained. It was just as good. 2. I added fresh broccoli - because that was what I had and my crowd likes broccoli. They loved it so next time I probably will make it with just as the recipe says. 3. I modified the sauce to be a combo of 3/4 -1 cup of Cheddar cheese sauce (see recipe below) and 1 cup of Classico Roasted Garlic Alfredo. This made a great sauce that was still cheesy but not overpowering. I was a little nervous at first that this would not taste too good but when it baked up it was awesome. Just the right combo. 4. I didn't have any parmesan so I used a little left over cheddar cheese in my bisquick topping. It really tied in all the flavors and was AWESOME!!! Also I used real sweet cream butter and it added a really nice (albeit fattening) comfort food kind of flavor to the topping. My 2 year olds loved the topping and the broccoli - we are working on expanding our tastes but I was happy they were willing to try it, and even happier when they made my husband and I fish through the rest of the dish lookng for more broccoli. My parents were over too and loved it so much that my mom made me print out the recipe right there. Here is the cheese sauce recipe I used instead: 2 1/2 cups milk, divided 2 tablespoons cornstarch 2 cups shredded Colby longhorn cheese 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper 1.In a small bowl combine 1/2 cup milk with cornstarch; mix well and set aside. 2.In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine cheese with 2 cups milk and melt. Stir in garlic salt, pepper. To the melted cheese add the cornstarch mixture and stir well.

I wish I had read the below review before baking... it is true the chicken is not cooked... I had to turn my oven back on and cook 20 minutes longer.

It said to add the chicken uncooked, but i did that and baked it for 25 minutes, until the top was golden brown, and the chicken was still raw. Had to keep in the oven for another 20 minutes in order to cook the chicken.
