Cheesey Chicken Soup
Easy soup for rainy days.
12.5oz can chunk chicken packed in water
12oz cans chicken broth
cup cauliflour chopped and steamed til tender
cup cheddar cheese
cup monterey jack cheese
can cream of chicken soup
half cup chopped parsley and basil
cubes chicken broth
half teaspoon freshly ground pepper
cups warm water
half cup shredded parmesan
Place chicken broth,cr of chicken soup,chicken broth cubes and the water in a large kettle or the slow cooker. bring to a slow boil.
While this is cooking mix your cheeses,herbs and pepper. Chop up the canned chicken and mix with the cheese mixture. Add the chopped cauliflour. Add all the mixed ingredients to the boiling chicken broths and stir to combine.Add the cup of milk.
Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Sprinkel the parmesan on top and serve with crackers or croutons.
