Stuffed Mushrooms

1/2
package shredded cheddar cheese (about 3/4 cups)
1/4
stick butter
1
clove garlic, minced
1
green onion, finely chopped
1/2
jalapeno, finely chopped
8
mushrooms, stalks and gills removed
  1. Put everything except the butter, half of the shredded cheese and mushrooms into a bowl. Partially melt the butter and half of the cheese in another bowl; pour into the rest of the ingredients and stir until everything is combined and slightly metled. Divide filling up evenly into each mushroom.
  2. Place filled mushrooms onto a pan. Set toaster oven to broil and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until mushrooms are cooked through and the cheese has started to brown on top.

Jalapenos are optional and should be put in to taste; I like to use pickled jalapenos myself.
