I thought these were easy and delicious. I mixed the garlic powder and butter into the dough although butter brushed on top would have been better.

OK... This recipe is fantastic, but I agree with the other reviewers that suggested punching up your favorite flavors. In my case, I doubled the amount of cheese the recipe calls for. I substituted the butter with my garlic butter (butter, minced garlic, parsley, olive oil), and substitute garlic powder with garlic salt. They were delicious. My mom, grandmother and nephew were amazed, because they taste just like the cheddar biscuits from that restaurant that I should not name :)

If you add 1cup cheese and 1/2tsp. of garlic to the receipt, the taste is improved. They are just like the biscuits at red lobster. We enjoy the biscuits at many of our meals.

These were pretty bland. Definitely a bit disappointed. They mostly just tasted like biscuits. I even added about a 1/2 tsp of garlic to the dough, and a little more cheese (it was Mexican cheese instead of cheddar). Maybe will try even more garlic in the dough and sharp cheddar cheese next time...

OMG!!! Our family LOVES these!! We are having them for the 3rd time this week. Tonight I am making a Roast Beef dinner and these will be the perfect biscuit. I have made a slight change, I mix in onion powder and parsley to the butter. Delish!

These are so easy to make and soooo delish! My kids love them! I did change the recipe a bit. I add 1 Tbsp garlic powder; 1cup cheddar cheese; 3/4 cup milk; 1 Tbsp parsley and bake for 15 min. At about the 10 min mark I brush some of the butter on them. My daughter said they are better than Red Lobsters! lol...
