I have been making this cheeseball for years, it is oh so good! I got the recipe in my 1974 Betty Crocker Cookbook. My son-in-law always asks me to make 2 at Christmas time. One to serve and one so he can hide it for himself. I got the recipe in my 1974 Betty Crocker Cookbook. I still have the cookbook, it is falling apart, but it is still my go to cookbook!

well, this is delicious. Absolutely delish. I used Feta, and added provolone and mozzarella (I don't think you can go wrong with adding more cheese to a cheese ball). The worchestire (I can't spell that word, sorry) sauce gives it a very full, salty, yummy flavor. I used multip-grain cracker/chips with it and it was awesome! Tip: Instead of mixing it all in a bowl, refrigerating, and then shaping into a ball, just spoon it into a ball shape after it's mixed, then dump it all into a long piece of plastic wrap. Then Wrap it up into a ball shape, using the plastic to help shape it into a ball form. THEN refrigerate. That way it sets in the shape it's supposed to be in, instead of trying to form it afterward. I'll be making this again for Christmas!

I make cheese balls every year for the holidays. Consider dividing it into 2 smaller cheese balls. Roll one in parsley and dust the other with Paprika. Red and Green for the holidays!

Came out really great, everyone liked it. Super easy to make. I used the Gorgonzola cheese, instead of the blue. Thx Betty.

I made this for my best friends bridal shower and EVERYONE was asking me for the recipe! It was sooo tasty :) I think next time I will use chives instead of onions and see how that comes out.

I lost my 1974 cookbook when I moved from Florida back to Ohio. This was the greatest recipe ever. Even people who don't like blue cheese, love this recipe. The one in mybook called to roll in either parsley or finely chopped nuts. Pecans are best.
