The smooth, spiced flavors of Chai tea were the inspiration for these tender cookies topped with a powdered sugar coating.

Unbelievable, unusual, melt-in-your mouth. I made a double batch and 1" balls made 95 cookies. It was tough to tell when the cookies were browned enough because all the spices made them look the right color even when they were still raw dough. I had to go by smell and the color of the bottom of a cookie to tell whether they were done baking. I am going to give most of these away for Xmas gifts, then keep a tin in my freezer to serve unexpected guests. These will definitely become a tradition in my house for the holidays :)

I loved these cookies! I'm a huge fan of chai and i loved all the spices that go into these cookies. They have a great flavor and don't even need much powdered sugar to go on top.

These were alright, but the insides were a bit undone, so make sure you don't under-cook them. Also, I think the spices are a bit too strong, maybe tone down each spice just a bit especially the all-spice. Other than that, these would be great for fall time with a glass of milk or tea. My mother enjoyed them still even though they needed some changing.

These are excellent. I made a double batch and got just over 70 cookies. I didn't double the coating mixture and had plenty to cover them all.

Very good cookies and easy to make! Great with a cup of coffee or tea. Only complaint is that I only got two dozen out of the recipe, which says it makes about four dozen. I'll also need to adjust my cooking time. Even at almost 15 min., the insides were a bit underdone (but so good I ate them anyway!)--hard to tell when they're "very light brown" when they start out brown.

I made these cookies last year around the Thanksgiving holiday and ended up making them for the WHOLE neighborhood. They are quick, easy and very fun to make. You might have to wear and mask or towel around your mouth & nose, as the spices tend to get a little over powering. But they taste amazing!! My husband is requesting them again this year, as he ate most of them!! :)
