I've made this a couple of times, and it ALWAYS gets rave reviews. So much so that I used the cake part to make cakeballs...which were just as much of a hit, if not more so. When talking about recipes with people, I often mention this as one that gets the best response (and is my favorite). Thank you to the genius that created it.

I had been wanting to try a Chai cupcake so we made this recipe. It was awesome. I took some to work and to the neighbors, complete hit. I will definitely be making these again and have shared the recipe with some friends. Thanks for a fantastic recipe.

Did not use the cake mix or pre-made icing - made a yellow cake batter and icing from scratch. Followed the recipe otherwise, and they turned out great. People were asking for the recipe, and some people said they looked and tasted so good they thought they were store bought! Will definitely make again.

I made these for my husband's birthday using some generic, Kroger brand powdered chai mix. I made cream cheese frosting. Overall, they were delicious.

I made these for my mom and I, we are HUGE Chai fans. They taste great!!! I searched high and low for the Chai mix but had no luck. However I found Chai tea bags, so I brewed some Chai tea and instead of using 1-1/3 cups of water I substituted with the actual tea. Amazing!! My mom asked me to make more today. Im waiting for them to finish now :)

I might use a little more chai mix next time because I found the chai flavor to be a little too subtle. Very good with coffee in the morning. I really liked the icing, but canned cream cheese icing sounds good as well.

So good! I am making these for a fundraiser and did a test run on my family. They loved them!! I couldn't find the powder chai mix (assuming that's what the recipe calls for), but used the liquid version instead (I forget the amount I used-- maybe three tablespoons). They were tasty!!

I love doctored up cake mixes and I love Vanilla Chai Lattes so this is a great combination and sooooo easy to throw together. The taste is so unique. A hit with guests at a graduation party.
