Caribbean Black Beans

cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained

cup water

medium green bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

teaspoon ground cumin

1/2

teaspoon salt

1/2

teaspoon garlic powder

1

jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained

• 1 Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.
• 2 Cover and cook on low heat setting 5 to 6 hours to blend and develop flavors.
