tablespoons butter or margarine
cups chopped sweet onions (4 large)
medium red apples, peeled and chopped (2 cups)
teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired
In 10-inch skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Cook onions in butter 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden.
