These muffins had a good flavor. Very similar to the buttermilk spice muffins you get at Mimi's Cafe. For the topping, I used just cinnamon and sugar and it tasted great. The downside is that I couldn't really taste the caramel sauce in the muffins. Also, my muffins didn't rise very much, so they were dense and not very fluffy. Not sure if I did something wrong there, but I would definitely make these again :)

Fabulous! I didn't roll the whole muffin in butter, but rather dabbed just the top and then dipped the top in the sugar spice mix. Used homemade caramel sauce as well. Very yummy, will definitely make again!
