I love these bars and so does everyone that tries them!!! I use aluminum foil to line the pan for easy removal and clean up. I make this recipe alot but I also make another version everyone loves. Make a regular pan of brownies then make the caramel sauce minus the peanut butter and peanuts, pour the caramel over the brownie base then sprinkle pecans over the top. I don't use any extra chocolate topping. It's a yummy version of turtle candies but they are really yummy and it eliminates the extra expense of reeses cups.

This are great! I substitued chocolate chips instead of the frosting and used toffee chips instead of nuts. WONDERFUL recipe!!

Really really yummy. Pressed cookie base into parchment lined dish, lifted out so easily after bars were done for easy cutting. Only had mixed nuts on hand, tasted great. Accidently forgot cookie base was in oven and over cooked it...alot! Completed recipe anyway and stored finished bars in tupperware, base thankfully softened when stored. The original rock solid brick I'd created became softer and chewy. Disaster averted. Will pay more attention next time but overall...bars were delicious. Will definitely make again. Nice balance of choc. and caramel and peanut butter.

These are absolutely delicious. I did make on change after the first time I made them though. I found the frosting topping to be way to sweet so I changed it with melted semi-sweet chocolate. I kind of indulged because I used Valrhona chocolate. They tasted just a little bit better and had that homemade taste with the chocolate.

People at work called these "death bar" and called me the devil because they were so good and couldn't stop eating them. I brought them into work in the morning and they were gone by 10am!!!

These bars are wonderful. They take a little time, but are well worth it. My daughter no longer wants a cake for her birthday, she asks that I make these instead.

Absolutely amazing, and so easy. Cut them small, however, as they are VERY rich.

I made these with slight modifications due to ingredients on hand. The cookie base I substituted 1/2 bag of Heath Baking Pieces (all I had to work with); I omitted the peanuts in the filling (I was out of those), and used the remaining bag of Heath Baking Pieces instead on the peanuts on the topping. FABULOUS! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!
