I chopped the apples and did two cups instead of 1 1/2. And I only baked it 35 minutes. It is still a bit dry, but good nonetheless.

I honestly was more excited reading this recipe than I was once I finally tasted it. Don't get me wrong, it was very moist and had good texture, it was just missing something flavor-wise. The apple flavor was not as prominent as I hoped it would be. Next time, I might try to add some applesauce to it, or apple pie spice just to bring out the apple flavor a little more. I agree with another comment on here about using diced apple instead of shredded, I think that might be why it lost so much flavor. The glaze was delish, and super simple. I did adjust the cook time a little, I think it ended up being a 10 min difference from the recipe. All in all, not a bad recipe, just needs some tweaking.

this was good. i only baked mine for 35 minutes, and it came out very moist. next time, though, i might cube my apples instead of shredding them, because i like having chunks of apples to bite into.

I'm not sure what or if I did something wrong when making this, but once I finished and it cooled it went right into the trash. The only thing I can say is to not bake it the amount of time that it says- 45 minutes is too long.
