Fun-size candy bars, unwrapped
Candy bar miniatures, unwrapped
Chocolate frosting (from 16-oz. can)
Bite-sized round buttery crackers and/or bite-sized creme-filled sandwich cookies, separated
Frilly-topped toothpicks
Assorted candies
  1. For each engine, attach candy bar miniature to top of fun-size candy bar with frosting. Attach bite-sized cookie halves to sides as wheels. To form smokestack, attach 1 candy, wide end up, to top with toothpick.
  2. For coal car or log car, with frosting, attach crackers to fun-size bar. With frosting, attach candies for cargo or pretzel sticks for logs. Let stand until frosting is set.

Kitchen Tip
To avoid breaking a candy bar during assembly, insert a toothpick completely through a gumdrop. Place the gumdrop on a candy bar and continue pressing the toothpick through the candy bar.
