Candy Cane Mojitos

The summertime classic makes a welcome appearance at holiday cocktail parties in this fun and festive new twist on a favorite cocktail.

oz (2 jiggers or 6 tablespoons) rum
Ice

tablespoons crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

cup fresh mint leaves
Sparkling water

  • 1 Into each of 2 tall clear glasses, pour 1 1/2 ounces (1 jigger or 3 tablespoons) rum.
  • 2 Top each with layers of ice, 1 tablespoon crushed candy and 1/2 cup mint leaves. Fill each glass with sparkling water. Garnish with peppermint candies. Serve immediately.

Get Zesty! Like your mojito with a citrus kick? Feel free to toss a few sliced limes in your glasses for that added kiss of flavor.

Go Virgin! Make this recipe without the alcohol by simply eliminating the rum. Still tastes great!
