This cake is wonderful!!!! It is not dry and I am hard pressed to figure out how someone could have said it was dry in a review. I made it for our Christmas dessert, but it didn't make to Christmas. My family loves it!!!

I'm sorry but a cake with a stick of butter, a cup of buttermilk, 3 eggs, and soaked in scmilk + caramel can not possibly come out dry. Good grief.

This recipe is sinfully and unbelievably delicious. I've made many desserts from this website and while most of them are good this one is so good it tastes like it came from the dessert menu of a fine dining restaurant. It's the first recipe that's inspired me to write a review. Try it!

I was very disappointed. The cake turned out really dry and lacked flavor. I have used other recipes similar to this one that turn out much better. I will not make this again.

This cake is so easy to make! Instead of making a homemade cake I used a chocolate cake mix. It''s very rich and very chocolatey so cut very thin slices and it''s really only for the truest chocolate lovers!

This cake is excellent, my husband went crazy, I made it for him, then made it for a bake sale I hardly had it set down and someone bought it. Neighbors, mother died took them one, then my husband wanted me to make him another one since I gave it away... It''s a keeper, will make it again and again.
